Jenn PT, DPT
Physical Therapist
Jennifer is an exceptionally skilled and highly respected Doctor of Physical Therapy with 20+ years of global experience and a career defined by clinical excellence and deep-seated compassion. Jennifer was recently named the 2025 Therapist of the Year by the Maryland National Capital Homecare Association (MNCHA). This prestigious honor recognizes her as the standout practitioner among physical, occupational, and speech therapists across the state of Maryland.
Jennifer’s clinical approach is rooted in the "RISES" mission (Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence, and Stewardship), earning her the 2025 RISES Clinical Award. Her technical proficiency is complemented by certifications for Home Health Rehabilitation, Geriatric Rehabilitation, Stroke Rehabilitation and Fall Prevention. Her impact is best measured by her patients’ gratitude; she consistently receives 6–8 "thank you" cards every month—a testament to her ability to deliver personalized care that drastically improves quality of life.
Jennifer’s career began in the Philippines, where she earned her Master’s degree and spent five years in sports and outpatient physical therapy. Her commitment to service was evident early on as she conducted health seminars in remote provinces, providing essential education to older adults in areas with limited infrastructure.
Since moving to the United States in 2010, Jennifer has established herself as a leader in the field:
• Senior Leadership: Served as a Senior PT for eight years in Skilled Nursing Facilities, playing a pivotal role in the launch of new rehabilitation centers.
• Clinical Instruction: As a Credentialed Clinical Instructor, she has mentored numerous junior PTs and students, shaping the future of the profession.
• Consistent Excellence: Her dedication was recognized early in her U.S. career when she was named PT of the Year in 2014.
Jennifer holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Dominican College in New York. Whether she is working in a high-tech facility or a patient’s living room, her goal remains the same: to provide high-quality, evidence-based care that leaves a lasting, positive difference in the lives of those she serves.
